Tiraspol, 15 August. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Foreign minister Vitaly Ignatiev has sent condolences to the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairman, Franco Frattini, as well as to Italian ambassador to Moldova Valeria Biagiotti in connection with the death of people in Genoa.

Vitali Ignatiev stressed that Pridnestrovie shares the sorrow of the people of Italy and "laments all those who happened to be on the ill-fated Morandi bridge and became a victim of the accident."

A bridge with dozens of cars collapsed in Genoa yesterday. According to the latest data, 35 people were killed in the accident. The cause of the wreck was the lack of technical maintenance of the bridge.
