Vadim Krasnoselsky: The Elections were held openly, freely, and democratically

The President met with the head of the Central Election Commission at the presidential executive office. Stanislav Kasap briefed Vadim Krasnoselsky on the elections for deputies of the Supreme Council of the VIII convocation, people's deputies of local councils, and chairmen of village and settlement administration councils. Voting in all constituencies was conducted in compliance with electoral legislation and valid. More than 102000 Pridnestrovians participated in the elections – over 26% of the electorate. Residents of Kamenka and Grigoriopol districts demonstrated the highest voter turnout. International observers and observers representing candidates worked at the polling stations. No serious violations were identified. No complaints were filed with the courts or the prosecutor's office. The official election results will be announced by the Central Election Commission of the PMR in the nearest future. 

Vadim Krasnoselsky expressed his gratitude personally to Stanislav Kasap, members of the Central Election Commission, territorial and precinct election commissions, and everyone involved in organizing and conducting the elections. The President emphasized the citizens' concern and civic responsibility of Pridnestrovians. The PMR President thanked everyone who came to the polling station and participated in the formation of the republic's representative bodies. He emphasized that the elections were held openly, freely, and democratically.
