Tiraspol, 11 December. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. According to operative information of the State Customs Committee (SCC) of the PMR, all customs checkpoints of the PMR are working in normal mode as of 12:00.
Driveways to customs and border checkpoints in Pridnestrovie are being cleaned from the snow by community services. The roads are in satisfactory condition.
In Ukraine, in the meantime, the traffic is restricted due to snowdrifts.
«For this reason, the movement of vehicles through the Pridnestrovian checkpoints Blizny Khutor, Malaeshty and Novaya Andriyashevka, which are part of the Tiraspol Customs, has been suspended," says the SCC's press service.
Only passenger car traffic is allowed through the border crossing Kuchurgany-Pervomaysk as the Ukrainian side has prohibited the movement of lorries.
The movement of vehicles through the checkpoints in Rybnitsa and Dubossary districts, except for Kolosovo, is being carried out in normal mode.
The movement of cars through Bendery's customs and border checkpoint (on the border with Moldova) is being performed in normal mode as well.
The SCC notes that the operational duty service reports every two hours to the SCC’s leadership on the situation at customs checkpoints. The emergency mode was introduced in connection with abundant snowfalls in the region.
