Pridnestrovie may open its trade house in Bryansk

This issue was raised during a Pridnestrovian delegation's visit to the Svenskaya Fair in Bryansk

Tiraspol, 29 August. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The traditional Svenskaya Fair, exhibiting the achievements of Russian manufacturers, took place in Bryansk on 26 August. It was attended by over 2,000 enterprises and 120,000 visitors, the government of Bryansk Oblast reports. A Pridnestrovian delegation also took part in the event. The purpose of their visit was to seek cooperation and the development of commercial links between our country and Russia.

«We elaborated the issue of signing a cooperation memorandum between Bryansk Oblast and Pridnestrovie. We met the oblast governor, chairman of the legislative assembly, heads of departments, that is, the government of Bryansk Oblast. Among them were the agricultural department, trade department and economic development department," said the economic development minister, Sergey Obolonik.

The memorandums will facilitate the establishment of cooperation. The possibility of supplying Pridnestrovian goods was explored at the meeting. In addition, the sides discussed the foundation of a Pridnestrovian trade house in Bryansk.

«The activity of the entrepreneurs themselves will be an important point. Because however many conditions you may create, nothing will change until our exporter, our entrepreneur enter directly into this field and establish a normal contact with consumers in this very Bryansk Oblast," said Obolonik.

In order to develop Pridnestrovian businesses, it is necessary to enter the Russian market, the minister believes. There is no need to fear the new projects that the state is implementing. Pridnestrovian entrepreneurs must participate in them. It is the fifth trip to Braynsk for the Pridnestrovian veterinary service.

«The main task is to accredit the laboratory so that our manufacturers will be able to export goods with our certificates to Russia. So that our certificates will be recognised," said the director of the Republican Veterinary and Phytosanitary Centre, Oleg Karpinsky.

The head of the service has already sent two letters for signing agreements. Three phytosanitary experts will be trained in Bryansk. Ten more people will be attending an anti-ASF course in 2018, after which they receive Russian-standard certificates.
