Tiraspol, March, 5. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. In 2019, 15.2 million rubles will be allocated to implement the street lighting program in the localities of the republic. The sources of financing will be the Road Fund and investment funds of the State Unitary Enterprise Unified Distribution Power Networks. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development Ivan Untu at an extended meeting of the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselski with the heads of state administrations with the participation of the Government and the Supreme Council chairmen Alexander Martynov and Alexander Korshunov.
The program of populated areas street lighting has been developed on the instructions of the head of state and is calculated until 2022. The deputy minister noted that the entire scope of work was planned for a total amount of 69 million rubles.
President of the PMR Vadim Krasnoselski focused on the fact that in 2019 the central streets of all populated areas of the republic should have light.
The head of state ordered the Prime Minister to draw up a clear timetable for the execution of work and to make a control cut for the implementation of the street lighting program quarterly.
According to Alexander Martynov, the program will be financed according to the plan for 2019. According to him, the income of the Road Fund increased by 35-40 per cent. This year the budget deficit will not be covered at its expense. The Prime Minister stressed that there is money in the fund, and he called on the heads of state administration to master them effectively.
