Foreign fans entering the PMR to exempted from paying customs charges

The corresponding decree was adopted by the Government of the PMR

Tiraspol, September 15. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Fans from among the citizens of foreign countries entering Pridnestrovie in cars registered abroad (except for the CIS countries) and heading to the matches of the UEFA Champions League will be exempted from paying the so-called vignette fee in 2021-2022. The corresponding decree of the PMR Government is published on the website of the Ministry of Economic Development of the republic.

To be exempted from paying the fee, a foreign citizen only needs to present a document, including an electronic one, confirming the possibility of his personal presence at the match.

In accordance with the Pridnestrovian legislation, the vignette fee applies to cars, minibuses, trucks with a capacity of up to 3.5 tons, motorcycles and mopeds, which are registered in foreign countries and imported by foreign citizens temporarily for personal use. It includes a fee for customs operations, partial payment of customs duties, taxes, as well as a fee for entry and travel on the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic`s roads.
