Tiraspol, June 9. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The Mass Media State Service initiated amendments to the Publishing Business Law.
Members of the Government passed an offer on introduction of a ban on distribution of the press production without indication of the publisher's imprint in accordance with the established procedure by a solid vote.
According to the draftspersons of the initiative, this provision of the law will increase liabilities for distribution of the press production. As the Governmental Press Service reports, distribution of leaflets, newspapers and brochures without indication of the publisher's imprint in them involves administrative responsibility according to the existing statutory regulations of the republic.
The bill will be submitted to the Supreme Council soon.
