Pridnestrovie's President Yevgeny Shevchuk declared it during the talk-show 'Journalists Invite' on the First Pridnestrovian TV Channel. «There is an info-war… We can say that election campaign began a half a year before its official start, and to my mind all these messages refer to this preparation for an official election campaign," the Head of state noted.
In particular, according to Yevgeny Shevchuk, the large economic agent forces tension in the republic and tries to bring discredit to the state authorities in order to attain the power.
«Certain economic authorities want to create a convenient political system for themselves because the loss in the presidential campaign of 2011 was very painful for some officers of special services, for some economic agents in Pridnestrovie now," the President noted.
According to Yevgeny Shevchuk, the political forces who lost the last presidential election campaign consolidate on purpose and try to take a revenge now.
«For that reason, tension is hyped-up in some areas. The first one is the information area, the second is a currency area, that is information attacks concerning the possible deficiency of food, fuel and so on," the President noted.
