Tiraspol, October 31. / Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Pridnestrovian drivers travelling to the European Union on a neutral number vehicles face a number of difficulties. In particular, the Pridnestrovian driving license is not recognized. The PMR Ministry of Internal Affairs staff discussed this topic at a meeting with the President.
Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that he knew about the situation. It often occurs while crossing the Romanian border. He called this problem local and stressed that the issue of neutral numbers was one of the permanent items on the negotiating agenda. It had also been discussed at the recent meeting with the Head of the Moldovan state, Vladimir Krasnoselsky noded.
The PMR President reminded that car numbers of neutral type had been introduced after Ukraine promised to block access to transport with Pridnestrovian numbers to its territory. The next stage had to be the neutral driving licences, Vladimir Krasnoselsky said.
'But we did 't make it. Today, there are other negotiators, and already with them, we will discuss the extension of the mechanism of neutral numbers to the licenses”, the Head of state added.
Such work will be carried out in specialized expert (working) groups. «We will convince Moldovan counterparts,» the President summed up.
