Vadim Krasnoselsky met with the Swedish Ambassador

The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sweden to the Republic of Moldova Anna Lyberg at the presidential executive office. Her working visit to Pridnestrovie is the final one in her post. Anna Lyberg’s diplomatic cadency is running out. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that cooperation with the Swedish diplomat was active, effective and personally comfortable for him.

The interlocutors spoke about the bilateral Pridnestrovian-Swedish interaction as well as the current state of affairs in the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and Moldova, the impact of the Swedish OSCE chairmanship on it, further prospects for the 5 + 2 format. Vadim Krasnoselsky positively assessed the involvement of Sweden in the activities of the "Permanent Conference..." format and the willingness of this country to assist in the negotiations. The PMR President noted the participation of Anna Lyberg in this work directly.

The meeting participants discussed a significant number of issues of mutual interest. They outlined plans for further interaction, expressing confidence that contacts with the Swedish embassy will continue regardless of who replaces the current ambassador.
