The PMR President met with the Head of the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Moldova

Vadim Krasnoselsky met with the Head of the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Moldova Jānis Mažeiks at the Presidential Executive Office. The Latvian diplomat has been in his current position since September last year. Communication with the PMR President took place for the first time. First, pandemic, and then geopolitical circumstances did not allow an earlier study visit to the republic: the planned meeting had to be postponed. The interlocutors indicated a mutual desire to exchange views on a wide range of issues. The meeting agenda included: discussion of the prospects for the resumption of the full functioning of the "5 + 2" format, the current state of the negotiation process, the facts of humanitarian and economic pressure on Pridnestrovie by Moldova. They focused on the issues of foreign trade cooperation.
