The President held a working meeting. The country's leader heard seven reports from the heads of state administrations, who briefed him on the state of affairs at the local level. The current state of affairs in cities and districts, the implementation of instructions, and plans for the week and medium term were discussed.
The Mayor of Bendery mentioned the construction of a traffic island on the road along Kishinevskaya Street – a new practice for Bendery. Roman Ivanchenko reported on repair work being carried out on a section of the sewer line. An accident occurred there. The collapse was avoided thanks to reconstruction carried out last year, which allowed the use of a backup pressure sewer line.
The Mayor of Rybnitsa Viktor Tyagai mentioned repair and restoration work on the children's playground on Valchenko Street (the play complex was previously partially damaged) and spoke about the landscaping being carried out in the city, including the planting of hundreds of perennial chrysanthemums last week. The head of Kamenka state administration reported that rains during the reporting week prevented agricultural machinery from entering the fields. 60% of the sunflower fields have been harvested so far (yielding 20.2 centners per hectare), while only 9% of the corn fields have been harvested (yielding 65 centners per hectare), according to Sergei Sokirka.
The progress was discussed in the construction and repair of social infrastructure facilities included in the 2025 Capital Investment Fund among other things. This year's capital investment program has been significantly curtailed due to the current economic circumstances, but the work already begun must continue, Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled. He emphasized the need to monitor the progress of the work. It was noted that the "Tekhstroyexpert" State Unitary Enterprise operates under the Ministry of Economic Development of the PMR, whose responsibilities include overseeing the implementation of projects.
