Current issues affecting the functioning of cities and districts in the republic were discussed in the course of the meeting under the President

The President held a video conference with the heads of state administrations of cities and districts of the republic. The heads briefed them on the current situation, focusing on the fulfillment of social obligations. Salaries and pensions are being paid on time and in full.

The head of Tiraspol mentioned in her weekly report the emergency drills conducted. A total of 1351 students and 454 employees of the capital's educational institutions participated in earthquake drills. The meeting participants discussed the issue of public transportation to and from the railway station. Trolleybuses operate on this line only in the morning and evening hours. Ilona Tyuryaeva reported that the state administration is aware of the request. An analysis of the situation revealed that operating large electric vehicles on this route during the day is impractical: trolleybuses are not in demand, and deploying them during the day is unprofitable. The option of increasing the number of minibuses serving this route is being considered. Another request from residents of the capital is to extend public transport service to the Kirovsky microdistrict. Residents point out that public transport service to the district is currently only available until 7:00 PM.

The mayor of Bendery announced that Kishinevskaya and Kommunisticheskaya streets are included in the "Safe City" system. There is an urgent need to install CCTV cameras at the intersection of Lenin and Suvorov streets in Bendery, according to Roman Ivanchenko. The head of the city administration announced that 19 new audio clips have been prepared for broadcast at public transport stops in time for City Day. Ceremonial and official events commemorating the 617th anniversary of the first mention of Bendery in chronicles will take place on the 8th of October with public festivities scheduled for Saturday on the 11th of October at Alexander Nevsky Park.

The mayor of Kamenka provided an update on the harvest campaign. According to Sergei Sokirka, 54% of the sunflower fields in the district have been harvested to date. The average yield is 20.5 centners per hectare.

The issues related to road safety were discussed in the course of the meeting. Recent fatal accidents were mentioned. Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that speeding is often the cause of accidents. The President considers that persistent offenders should be subject to driving restrictions.
