Pridnestrovian Minister of Education Svetlana Ivanishina reported to the President on the results of the Pridnestrovian delegation's official visit to Moscow. The republic's Ministry of Education delegated Deputy Minister Galina Ratushnyak, and the PMR Ministry of Foreign Affairs delegated Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Stetsyuk to participate in the meeting held at the Russian Ministry of Education and Science on October 28. The discussion focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in education, upbringing, and youth policy. Deputy Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Andrei Korneyev participated in the working discussion on the Russian side along with officials representing various departments: the Department of Integration of the National Education System and International Cooperation; the Department of State Policy in Secondary Vocational Education and Vocational Training; and the Department of Digital Transformation and Priority Projects.
Possible options for providing educational institutions in Pridnestrovie with modern textbooks and teaching materials were discussed. It was noted that the depreciation of the textbook stock is approaching 75%. The supply of new-generation textbooks is extremely low. It was decided to try to return to the experience of 2015, when educational literature was printed in Pridnestrovie with Russian assistance at the "Poligrafist" state-owned printing house. The Russians were provided with documents outlining the need, a financial justification for the textbook production costs, and information on the company's technical readiness to fulfill the order in accordance with Russian standards. The Russian side has set a deadline of one and a half weeks for reviewing the documentation. It is planned to be implemented in three stages between 2026 and 2028 if the humanitarian project is launched.
They discussed available routes for supplying Russian-made educational equipment to Pridnestrovie. They focused on the participation of Pridnestrovian educational institutions in various projects implemented by the Russian Ministry of Education. One example is the "Teacher Abroad" project. An important area is the inclusion of our teachers and administrators in Russian professional development programs. Vocational education was highlighted as a separate area. The Pridnestrovian side reported that this educational sector is represented in the republic by a significant number of colleges and technical schools offering various vocational qualifications. Galina Ratushnyak emphasized the development of the dual education system. The participants agreed that Pridnestrovian students would benefit from participating in professional skills championships and educational intensives.
Vadim Krasnoselsky was informed that during their mission, the Pridnestrovian representatives visited the office of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution "Russian Children's Center" (Rosdetcenter). They discussed the development of the educational system, the role of social partnership in shaping the learning environment, and the prospects for participation of Pridnestrovie in the final forum "New Philosophy of Education", which will be held in Moscow in November. As Svetlana Ivanishina emphasized, citing Galina Ratushnyak's report, Russian colleagues noted the high level of educational work carried out in educational institutions in Pridnestrovie and expressed their willingness to exchange experiences and jointly implement diverse projects.
