Tiraspol, April, 22. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The second year on the eve of the Victory Day the member of Public Chamber of the Russian Federation Kaluga region Sergey Verkholamochkin sends to Pridnestrovie several thousands of St.George's Ribbons for holding youth patriotic actions.
«We have to remember and honour history not to repeat the mistake in the future. It is very important to me that the youth is involved in our project. It defines a future vector. Now many politicians try to treat history for their own benefit. But we have to remember that our force is in unity and friendship. It allowed to win the Great Patriotic War», – Sergey Verkholamochkin noted.
This year the community «Youth of Pridnestrovie» transferred St.George's Ribbons from Kaluga to public organizations of the republic.
«A St.George's Ribbon is one of Victory holiday symbols, expression of our respect for the veterans, a tribute to the memory of the warriors fallen in fights for the Homeland and its independence. All of us are in irredeemable debt to the generation of winners. I am convinced that only remembering the past, creating the present, we will build the worthy future», – the representative of the Pridnestrovian youth Evgeny Nazarenko emphasized.
