The Borisov cemetery in Bendery is usually very crowded on June 19. Defenders of Pridnestrovie lie here in the Alley of Heroes. Leaders of the country and the city, relatives of the deceased participants in the hostilities of 1992, public figures come to worship the graves. This year, quarantine restrictions did not allow the rally that had become customary on that day to be held. Litia memorial service was served by the archbishop of Tiraspol and Dubossary Sawa. The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky took part in the service. The dead defenders were particularize by name.
At the end of the litia memorial service, the President laid flowers at the monument to the defenders and to the stone slabs of the graves, under which the heroes are laid to rest.
