The PMR President met with deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation at the Official Representation of Pridnestrovie in Moscow today. Vadim Krasnoselsky's interlocutors were Artem Turov, Sergey Chizhov and Umakhan Umakhanov. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev and the Head of the Pridnestrovian Representation in the Russian capital Leonid Manakov took part in the working conversation.
They discussed issues of providing Russian compatriots living in Pridnestrovie with social and humanitarian support, simplifying the mechanism for granting Pridnestrovians Russian citizenship, optimizing consular services, the possibility of using maternity capital and medical insurance on the territory of the PMR. The meeting participants exchanged views on the current situation around Pridnestrovie. The most important stabilizing role of the peacekeeping operation on the Dniester was emphasized at the same time. The parties substantively discussed the parameters of interaction for the coming year, outlined plans and ways of their implementation.
