Tiraspol, September 2. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. On the 35th anniversary of the PMR, the youth of the republic presented the largest dance production in the history of our state. After the festive parade, beginner and professional dancers, leading choirs of the country, as well as Suvorov cadets and military school students showed the Pridnestrovian Suite, in which 780 people took part.
As the organizers of the project said, the main goal is to preserve the national identity of the Pridnestrovian people through continuity and reverent attitude to the historical and cultural heritage of the republic.
Pridnestrovian Suite consisted of four parts. The first was a traditional folk choreography. Russian, Ukrainian, Moldavian, Gagauz and Bulgarian dances were performed by artists of the state ensemble of folk music and dance Viorika, the honored ensemble Vatra, as well as exemplary and folk groups. The production showed all the beauty and unity of the Pridnestrovian people.
Then, ballroom groups from Tiraspol came out onto the square to the Pridnestrovian Waltz by local author Alexander Tokarev. Suvorov cadets and military school students joined them. The orchestra of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the PMR provided musical accompaniment.
The Energy of Youth in the third block was demonstrated by youth dance teams from Slobodzeya: Unix-Rhythm and Rhythms of the Century. A total of 130 people.
The Pridnestrovian Suite ended with a joint performance by all participants of the choreographic project, which was joined by young dancers and leading choirs of the country.
As a sign of peace, goodness and prosperity, balloons in the form of the Pridnestrovian flag were launched into the sky.
