The Russian contingent, including the peacekeepers in Pridnestrovie, will be provided with material support anyway, despite the denunciation of the military cooperation agreements by Ukraine, the coordinator of the Russian Defense Ministry General Inspectors Office general Yury Yakubov told.
«Now, due to the fact that Ukraine terminated all agreements with Russia in the field of military and technical cooperation, including transit of freights through the Ukrainian territory, the Defense Ministry has to do nothing but to supply the Russian troops over the air bridge by military transport aircrafts," the Interfax quotes the Russian general.
Yury Yakubov emphasized that the Defense Ministry, the General Staff would find the ways to provide the Russian contingent, including the peacekeepers, with all things necessary in any case.
He also voiced an opinion that the transit ban for the Russian freights to Pridnestrovie may cause the situation escalation in the region.
