Vitaly Ignatyev held a number of meetings with representatives of Russia's state authorities

Within the framework of the ongoing visit to the capital of the Russian Federation, Acting Foreign Minister of the PMR Vitaly Ignatiev held a working meeting with the assistant to the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, special representative of the Russian President on Transnistria D. As the Foreign Ministry's Press Service notes, the sides discussed actual issues of the current social and political situation in Pridnestrovie. Special attention was paid to the areas of inter-departmental cooperation between Russia and Pridnestrovie within the framework of memoranda signed in 2014−2015. They also exchanged views on the situation in the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and Moldova, in particular, they emphasized that it was necessary to cancel any restrictive measures imposed by Moldova in order to remove obstacles to the dialogue. At the end of the meeting, the sides agreed to continue cooperation in a wide range of topical issues.

As part of the preliminary agreement with representatives of the Russian Institute of Strategic Studies, an interview with Vitaly Ignatiev was also held for the RISS TV. It is expected that the material will go on the air next week.
