Tiraspol, 30 November. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Today, as part of the working visit to Moscow, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vitaly Ignatyev met Ambassador at Large of the Russian MFA Sergey Gubarev. The meeting was also attended by the deputy director of the 2nd department of CIS countries of the Russian MFA, Vitaly Tryapitsyn, the press service of Pridnestrovie's MFA reports.

The parties discussed the current situation in the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and Moldova. In particular, they expressed an opinion on the inadmissibility of long pauses at various levels of the negotiating process, including meetings of expert (working) groups and political representatives. The Pridnestrovian diplomat said that over five months the Moldovan side had refused to hold 5+2 format meetings of the «Permanent Conference», despite the fact that Pridnestrovie has submitted three requests to organise it. In this context, Vitaly Ignatyev underscored that the Moldovan side was continuing to show reluctance to conduct a substantive dialogue with Pridnestrovie, which in turn considerably impedes the resolution of a number of significant problems.

The parties exchanged views on various aspects of bilateral cooperation of Pridnestrovie and Russia. In particular, Russia's MFA representatives praised the participation of a delegation of independent observers from Pridnestrovie in the 14th session of the Russia-Moldova intergovernmental commission.
