Vitaly Ignatyev expresses condolences to Russian ambassador Farit Mukhametshin for tragedy in Kemerovo

The Pridnestrovian foreign minister expressed hope that sincere sympathy and empathy of Pridnestrovians would be a support for the fraternal people of Russia in these difficult moments

Tiraspol, 26 March. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Foreign minister Vitaly Ignatyev has sent condolences to Russia's ambassador to Moldova Farit Mukhametshin in connection with the tragic death of people in a shopping mall in Kemerovo.

Vitaly Ignatyev emphasized that the pain caused by the horrific tragedy in the hearts of Pridnestrovians "cannot be expressed in words".

He expressed hope that sincere sympathy and empathy of Pridnestrovians would be a support for the fraternal people of Russia in these difficult moments. The diplomat also wished the families of the victims to remain courage and enduring and those injured to speedily recover.

A fire broke out on Sunday in the shopping mall “Winter Cherry” in Kemerovo. According to the latest information, 56 people were killed. Since the onset of the fire, 44 people have asked for assistance in medical institutions, ten of whom remain in hospital.
