The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky continues the dialogue at the site of the State Duma of the Russian Federation. One of the planned meetings - with Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Head of the United Russia faction, Sergei Neverov.
Taking into account the existing realities, the central issue of the working discussion is the measures taken to contain the spread of coronavirus and vaccination as an effective tool for the prevention and control of COVID-19. The interlocutors focused on the issues of ensuring the rights and interests of Russian citizens and Russian compatriots in Pridnestrovie. They talked about such important humanitarian aspects as obtaining Russian citizenship by Pridnestrovians in a simplified manner, the use of the maternity capital mechanism on the territory of the PMR, the resumption of the work of the Outbound Consular Service Center of the Russian Embassy in Tiraspol. They discussed promising areas of Pridnestrovian-Russian cooperation in various fields, as well as initiatives of Pridnestrovie to intensify bilateral contacts, including through inter-parliamentary interaction. They paid special attention to the recommendations formulated following the results of a round table on the Pridnestrovian theme held in the State Duma on the 17th March. The importance of the practical implementation of the aforementioned aspects is noted. The interlocutors discussed a number of work initiatives and proposals. They focused on some points related to the organization and conduct of voting in the elections to the State Duma in the autumn of this year on the territory of Pridnestrovie.
They agreed at the end of the meeting to continue interaction in the working order.
