Dedicated to the next anniversary of the formation of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic the traditional Military Parade was preceded by the ceremony of raising the State flags. The flags of the Pridnestrovian cities - Tiraspol, Dnestrovsk, Bendery, Slobodzeya, Grigoriopol, Dubossary, Rybnitsa and Kamenka - are waving in the sky over Tiraspol. To the sounds of the PMR anthem performed by the orchestra of the General Staff of the Ministry of Defense, two more canvases soared up in front of them - the flags of the PMR and the Russian Federation. The Pridnestrovian (the former flag of the Moldavian SSR) was first solemnly raised on September 2, 1991.
