The meeting of Vadim Krasnoselsky and Dmitry Kozak took place in Moscow

The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky being on a working visit to Moscow met with the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kozak. Topical issues of the Pridnestrovian-Russian agenda were discussed. The support of Pridnestrovians in the fight against the spread of the coronavirus was among the topics of discussion. The interlocutors agree that vaccination is one of the most effective measures to prevent and protect the population from viral infections. The Russian vaccine is trusted by citizens of Pridnestrovie. They talked about the possible organization of the delivery of the next batch of Sputnik V to the republic. Other projects of a humanitarian nature, aimed at supporting compatriots, strengthening Pridnestrovian-Russian ties, and developing bilateral contacts were also discussed.

Special attention in the course of the meeting was paid to the negotiation process between Pridnestrovie and Moldova. Russia is its permanent participant. Dmitry Kozak is well acquainted with the history of negotiations and knows about the current state of affairs. The meeting participants exchanged views on the current situation and the prospects for intensifying the dialogue to resolve the accumulated problems. Vadim Krasnoselsky and Dmitry Kozak spoke about the long-overdue need for practical implementation of the agreements of the Berlin + package and other protocol documents. Both are confident in the expediency of holding a large meeting of participants in the 5 + 2 format this year.
