Vadim Krasnoselsky: Someone benefits from escalating the situation around Pridnestrovie

The more serious the situation around us is, the more we must talk about peace and make decisions to preserve peace, the President believes

Tiraspol, July 4. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. Pridnestrovian President Vadim Krasnoselsky, in an interview with the Russia 1 TV channel, commented on the developing situation around Pridnestrovie and the recently issued statement of the PMR Supreme Council on this matter. According to Vadim Krasnoselsky, certain forces benefit from escalating the situation around the republic.

“If we look at both Moldovan and Ukrainian politicians` statements, if we look at social networks of various kinds, then it is quite obvious that someone benefits from escalating the situation around Pridnestrovie and, perhaps, even in Pridnestrovie. This is confirmed by the terrorist attacks on our territory,” the head of state said.

According to Vadim Krasnoselsky, despite all these provocative statements and terrorist attacks, Pridnestrovie will continue to maintain its peace-loving position. The more serious the situation around us is, the more we must talk about peace and make decisions to preserve peace, the President noted.

Recall that the earlier adopted statement of the Supreme Council emphasizes that the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic is a peace-loving state, committed to the principles of neutrality and the resolution of all conflicts at the negotiating table.

“The Supreme Council, like the entire multinational Pridnestrovian people, calls on the leadership of neighboring states to take into account the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic`s constructive position and prevent the escalation of tension in the common regional location,” the PMR Supreme Council said in a statement.
