A festive event dedicated to the beginning of the academic year was held in front of the head building of Pridnestrovian State University named after Taras Shevchenko.
The PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky took part in it. Addressing the participants of the celebration, the President noted the traditionally high level of student training and the merits of the faculty of the State University, calling the staff of the country's leading university a diamond that deserves a decent setting, which is the university infrastructure.
The President noted with satisfaction the results of the repair, construction and landscaping work carried out on his behalf.
Reconstruction and equipping of educational buildings, dormitories, the territory adjacent to university locations is being carried out for the second year. 
Today is a housewarming party for those who will study and work in Building A.
The PMR President once again at the end of the solemn meeting passed with an inspection of completely ready for classes floors.
Both exterior and interior work has been completed, equipment and furniture have been updated.
The President assured that the putting in order of the infrastructure of the state university will continue in accordance with the approved plan.
