The supply of natural gas to Pridnestrovie was suspended last Saturday. Caused by technical aspects the interruption will last until April 8-9. It will be possible to resume the centralized supply of heating along with the gas tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Sergey Obolonik informed during the video conference. He reported that the heating season will be extended throughout the republic until the 13th of April. The Minister of Economic Development clarified that heat will be returned to homes and institutions of Dnestrovsk today. He said that the measures taken made it possible to maintain the supply of hot water to all subscribers and not interrupt the heat supply to closed-type social institutions.
The heads of state administrations reported in the course of the meeting that the temperature in classrooms is 13-16 degrees in most educational institutions of the republic. Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled the previously issued order to make decisions on the organization of the educational process locally in each school – based on the possibility of ensuring a temperature regime that is safe for the health of children and the personnel.
