A new dairy production workshop was opened in the village of Korotnoye in Slobodzeya district. This is a division of Oktavian LLC. The company has been on the market since 2003. It is engaged in crop production and livestock farming. The President visited the production base of the agrarian company – the arable land and the farm earlier. He visited the processing sector today. The President was met by the management of the enterprise as a whole and the dairy workshop. They said that the livestock reaches 360 units now. There are 130 cows in the dairy herd. They increase and improve the quality of the livestock due to the purchased pedigree semen. Special attention is paid to dairy production. They purchased modern equipment. The peculiarity of the new production is that the products are manufactured using a thermostatic method, that is, they "mature" in the packaging, shared the director of the workshop Alexander Zalevsky. They plan to introduce milk, kefir, yogurt, sour cream, and cheeses into the assortment. Vadim Krasnoselsky asked about the sales market. They plan to initially cooperate with local retail outlets.
