The President discussed outstanding issues with PSU management

The state university management presented a report on applicants' preferred majors this academic year. The President was informed that the highest competition was among applicants to the "Pedagogy and Psychology of Deviant Behavior" major, with 3.6 applicants per place. Part-time students in the "Advertising and Public Relations" program were close behind, with 3.4 applicants. The competition was 2.3 applicants per place in the full-time department. "Psychology" – 2.1, "Legal Support for National Security" – 1.9, "Public and Municipal Administration" – 1.7, "Software Engineering" – 1.6, "Construction" – 1.5, and "Architecture" – 1.4. The Master's program in Management, specializing in "Management and Development of Information Systems in Economics," also ranked first, with two applicants per place.

Vadim Krasnoselsky was interested in some details of the university's reorganization efforts, attendance at university museums, and progress on renovations. The university has been participating in the capital investment program for five years now. Funding has exceeded 120 million rubles. Three buildings have been completely renovated. Two more have had their windows, doors, and facades updated. Refurbishment has been completed, and furniture has been replaced. The surrounding areas have been landscaped. The student campus has been transformed. A university church has been built. The president issued a number of instructions related to the work planned for the current year.
