Tiraspol, 6 July. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. A road map for re-establishing Russian-Moldovan relations may include a provision on raising the blockade of Pridnestrovie. This was said by Russia's presidential envoy on Pridnestrovie, Vice Premier Dmitry Rogozin, following his meeting with Pridnestrovian President Yevgeny Shevchuk and government members.

«A number of important economic issues of special concern for Pridnestrovie, such as railway and tariffs, could be included as a part, a subsection into the road map and in the short run into the agenda of relations which will be considered at a meeting of the Russian-Moldovan intergovernmental commission at the end of the year," said Rogozin.

Back in 2014, after signing a free trade agreement between the EU and Moldova, Russia imposed a number of restrictions for the import of Moldovan alcohol and agricultural products. At the same time, these restrictions do not apply to Pridnestrovie.

According to Dmitry Rogozin, these restrictions were introduced because Moldova had assumed the obligations contradicting its liabilities as a CIS member, and the road map suggests a step-by-step return to fulfilling these liabilities.
