Tiraspol, February 14. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. The head of the Federation Council International Affairs Committee Konstantin Kosachev declared during the meeting with the speaker of the Supreme Council of Pridnestrovie Alexander Shcherba that the Federation Council would give expert support to the Pridnestrovian parliament, the Parliamentary Newspaper reports.
Senator noted that in Russia the list monitored by the both Russian and Pridnestrovian parliaments had been prepared in the Russian Federation. One of the issues is a possibility of simplified Russian citizenship reception.
«One of the issues, as I understand it, is very urgent for the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. It is a possiblity of simplified Russian citizenship reception. We understand that it is very important to create conditions for people in order that this process would be least bureaucratized and convenient for the people. We are working hard on this issue now, we have an order of the president of the Russian Federation," Interfax quotes the senator.
«Pridnestrovie is an integral part of the Russian World. It's important to remind that there are 213 thousand citizens of the Russian Federation in the territory of the republic, and all population amounts to more than half a million people. Many Pridnesetrovians want to receive the Russian citizenship," the head of the Pridnestrovie's Supreme Council Alexander Shcherba noted in turn.
He also emphasized that the level of credibility and understanding between the Pridnestrovie's Supreme Council and the Russian parliament had to be documented and implemented in practice».
«We are ready for hard work and to adopt new legal acts. There's no other way except for harmonization with the Russian legislation," Shcherba says.
Consequently, the analysis of the main Pridnestrovie's enactments can be accompanied by expert maintenance in the Federation Council.
