Bendery Fortress Tourist Information Center visited by 450 foreigners

Tourists from 28 countries of the world have visited it for two months of its work

Tiraspol, September 27. /Novosti Pridnestrovya/. In the middle of summer, a Tourist Information Center was opened in Pridnestrovie, which is located on the territory of the Bendery Fortress. There tourists can ask all interesting questions about the republic and get comprehensive answers.

Egor Artyukhov, Deputy Director of the State Institution PMR Tourism Agency, said that about 450 tourists from 28 countries of the world visited it during the two months of the Center work. These are mainly citizens of Russia and European countries: Italy, France and the Czech Republic. Residents of the United States, Canada, India and Japan also visited Pridnestrovie.

“Generally, tourists visit Tiraspol and Bendery. At the moment, the PMR Tourism Agency is preparing tourist routes in various directions. They are set up in such a way as to cover the main sights of the republic,” the Deputy Director says.

The PMR Tourism Agency is also working on the creation of children and youth routes that will interest schoolchildren and students.

Egor Artyukhov stressed that tourism in Pridnestrovie is very popular today.
