The PMR President met with the Head of the European External Action Service for Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia and Moldova

Dorota Dlouchi-Suliga is Acting Head of the European External Action Service for Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia and Moldova. She visits Pridnestrovie for the first time in this position. The delegation headed by her was received by the PMR President. Welcoming the guests, Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that he considers dialogue necessary, and the participation of European diplomats in the negotiation process is significant. The President focused on the stagnation of the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian negotiations, consequences of the neighboring republic's failure to fulfill the agreements reached earlier, and the problematic aspects accumulation. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that the talk is about humanitarian issues – the economy, entrepreneurship, banking. The already difficult situation was aggravated by the events taking place along the perimeter of Pridnestrovie. The PMR President called the task number one to ensure peace and security of citizens. He spoke about the energy crisis that has a negative impact on the state of affairs and complicates the relationship between the participants in the negotiation process.   

Dorota Dlouchi-Suliga said that she maintains working contacts with the OSCE representatives and discussed the Moldovan-Pridnestrovian issue with them. She called the energy crisis a new challenge, the desire to cope with which is an additional opportunity for constructive cooperation. Janis Mazeiks, the Head of the EU Delegation to the Republic of Moldova, who took part in the meeting, also spoke about the desire to contribute to the solution of the accumulated and emerging problematic aspects.

The interlocutors discussed in detail the issues of concern to the parties, outlined a plan for further interaction, agreeing to maintain a working dialogue.
